Today Redback Pest Control Sydney installed a rodent monitoring program at a local school, using a safer and more controlled approach for sensitive sites.

Schools, childcare, healthcare, aged care and food areas need careful rodent management. It is not just about putting bait out and walking away. The right program should look at rodent activity, risk to children, staff, pets, wildlife, food safety, building entry points and ongoing monitoring.

Our preferred setup is:

For this school, non-toxic monitoring and traps were the preferred option, with Selontra only considered where rodent activity and a risk assessment justify its use.
