At RYNO Fencing, we recently brought our entire team together for a dedicated Safety & Training Day, taking the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day demands of the industry and focus on what matters most – our people.
Safety isn't just a requirement at RYNO; it's a core value that drives everything we do. The day was designed to reinforce our commitment to safety, compliance, training and continuous improvement while ensuring our people remain equipped with the skills, knowledge and resources required to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
Throughout the day our team completed a range of important training and compliance activities, including:
✅ Face Fit Testing for respiratory protection compliance
✅ First Aid & CPR Training and recertification
✅ HSEQ Toolbox Talks and safety discussions
✅ Fire Extinguisher Inspections, Testing and Tagging
✅ First Aid Kit Audits, Servicing and Restocking
✅ Electrical Test & Tagging of tools and equipment
✅ Vehicle Inspections and Compliance Checks
✅ Machinery Servicing and Red Dot Inspections
✅ Housekeeping, vehicle cleaning and equipment checks
These activities are critical to maintaining a safe workplace, reducing risk and ensuring our teams have confidence in the equipment they use every day.
The day also provided an opportunity to officially welcome our new Operations Manager, Abe Carr, to the wider team.
A highlight of the afternoon was recognising team members who have demonstrated loyalty and commitment to the business. We were proud to acknowledge Michael Barnes and Jacob Moran, both celebrating three years with RYNO Fencing. Thank you both for your hard work, dedication and contribution to the success of the company.
Of course, no RYNO gathering would be complete without a bit of friendly banter. We also took the opportunity to celebrate the birthday of our Construction Manager, Simon Phillips, who remains absolutely adamant that he has turned 21 again! While there may be some debate around the accuracy of that claim, it was great to share a laugh and celebrate with one of the key leaders who contributes so much to the success of our business.
A special thank you also goes to our resident chefs for the day, David Peters and Ben Kilian, who kicked the morning off in style by cooking an outstanding bacon, egg and sausage breakfast for the team. The BBQ was a huge hit and a fantastic way to start the day.
A huge thank you to our employees, training providers and service partners who helped make the day such a success. The engagement shown throughout the day reinforces what makes RYNO special – a team that genuinely cares about safety, supports one another and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.
Safe People. Strong Teams. Better Outcomes.
