On Thursday, 8th October, we successfully completed a major concrete pour in Bordertown for the new SA Water Storage tank.
The operation involved 22 trucks from across the state, including Adelaide, alongside our own fleet. Together, these trucks travelled more than 14,000kms delivering concrete throughout the day.
The day began at 4am, with an impressive 625.2m3 of concrete to be batched and delivered. To keep everything running smoothly and on schedule, trucks were planned to be loaded every 7 minutes. In addition, 6 B-Double tankers travelled from Adelaide at scheduled times to deliver cement powder to the silos, ensuring a continuous supply throughout the operation.
The pour was a great success and a huge thank you to everyone involved.
