Mick has been the driving force behind the Motorfest since its beginnings in 2016. With a passion for cars, community, and charity, he’s dedicated countless hours to growing the event into a much-loved annual gathering that raises vital funds for local causes. Under his leadership, The Sandy Hollow Charity Motorfest has supported charities like MS Australia, MND Australia, and Upper Hunter Homeless, raising tens of thousands of dollars for those in need.

Mick’s commitment goes beyond event day—he works year-round with a dedicated team of volunteers, fostering partnerships, supporting local businesses, and bringing people together to celebrate what makes our region special.

The awards night at the Muswellbrook R.S.L. was a fantastic celebration of local business, and it was truly humbling to have our team’s dedication recognised in such a big way.

This achievement is especially meaningful given the challenges we’ve faced over the past 12 months. Following the earthquake, we had to rapidly relocate our operations—first to portable buildings, and then, thanks to the grit and teamwork of our staff, into our brand new state-of-the-art facility. Through all the disruption and uncertainty, our team’s resilience and commitment to delivering for our clients never wavered.

Winning these awards is a testament to our people, our culture, and the support of our clients and community. From our beginnings in a home garage to where we are today with over 35 employees, we’re grateful for every step of the journey and everyone who has been part of it.
