Who's happy about reducing power costs and environmental impacts? We are!

Costa Georgiadis and Geoff Lodge, CEO of GV Community Energy, got together at last weekend's "Nurturing Nature" in Tatura to celebrate the 12 month Community Electrification Engagement Program funded by Sustainability Victoria.

The Community Electrification Engagement Program assisted households to get off gas and electrify all household appliances.

Over 12 months, 39 public events attracted 5,799 attendees and 70 homes received a portable induction cooktop.

We're looking forward to continuing to spread the word - drop us a message via [email protected] to find out more!

Geoff Lodge, CEO of GV Community Energy, is one of the guest speakers at Tatura's Nurturing Nature event on Sunday 23 August 2026, in Tatura's Cussen Park and the Tatura Italian Social Club.

Goeff will be joining Costa Georgiadis to talk about the Electrify Hume project, managed by GV Community Energy on behalf of the Hume Community Energy Network, and funded by Sustainability Victoria under the Victorian government’s Community Engagement Electrification Program.

The Electrify Hume project focussed on educating the community on the benefits of transitioning to an all-electric home to reduce utility bills and achieve “Warm in winter, cool in summer and clean air all year round”.

Transitioning to an all-electric home can:
👉Save $2,000/year on lower utility bills
👉Improve air quality inside the home by removing gas fumes
👉Improve comfort by incorporating improvements in draught proofing, insulation upgrades and upgrading to electric appliances

The event is fully subscribed, but to keep up with event news and be the first to know if more tickets are released, jump into Nurturing Nature's Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1767735674413307
