A very special renovation and extension project currently in the works ✨

I had the privilege of designing this client’s previous home, so it’s incredibly exciting to now be part of their next chapter as they embrace farm life and transform the original cottage on their property.

The design introduces a modern extension that still feels connected to the existing home blending the old and new together rather than creating a harsh contrast between the two forms.

This bathroom is just YES 🤌🏼✨
The warmth, the calmness, the off-form concrete vanity, the freestanding bath with the feature wall softly concealing the shower behind… every part of this space just works.

And those two oversized skylights flooding the room with natural light by day, while giving you the perfect view of the sky and stars at night while soaking in the bath. Honestly a dream space!

One of my favourite design features; the servery window.

This large gas strut window creates effortless flow between the kitchen and outdoor entertaining area, making everyday living and hosting that much easier. It keeps the spaces connected while maintaining a wide, uninterrupted view across the farm and surrounding landscape, and brings in an incredible amount of natural light.

Servery windows are a must in my books, designed for the way we actually live. I use ours at home every single day, and it’s one feature I’ll always recommend.

Throwback to this modern pavilion-style home that never quite made it onto the grid.

A bold black and white design, softened with recycled brickwork to bring warmth and texture to the facade. Simple, timeless and designed for everyday living.
