FEATURE MATERIAL | Timber

Looking back through the archives to revisit our Myrtle Brae Farm project, where a mix of timber was used to shape both the character and performance of the home.

Cypress pine was used across the flooring and stairs, bringing warmth, texture and depth to the interior palette. The roof structure was all hand-cut and constructed onsite by our team, while cedar was selected externally for its durability.

The project went on to receive the Master Builders Award for Best Use of Timber - a reflection of the craftsmanship and detail carried throughout the build.

When used well, timber does more than just finish a space. It brings warmth, character and a lived-in quality that only improves with time.
