What we do:

We install a variety of air conditioning systems including ducted, split and VRV/VRF systems. We perform service work and diagnostics on all air conditioning systems. Our team are responsible for the installation, maintenance, service and repairs for a range of commercial refrigeration systems.

What we need from you:

- Air Conditioning and Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- OHS White Card
- NSW Qualified Supervisor/Contractor Licence (if applicable)
- Experience in service and installation work with experience in commercial refrigeration systems highly desirable
- Commitment to the highest work standards
- Good written and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

What we will provide:

- Fully maintained company vehicle & uniforms
- 38 hour working week, with the opportunity to work a flexible week (ie: 4 day week/9 day fortnight)

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an apprentice carpenter with Fyfe Constructions in 2024.
Fyfe Constructions is a small, award winning construction business, based in Mudgee NSW whose services range from new builds, renovations, additions and extensions.

Our employees currently follow a 38 hour/4 day work week schedule - Monday through to
Thursday.

Our ideal candidate should have the following:
• Drivers licence and own car
• White Card
• Own tools or willingness to obtain
• Very keen to learn
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry.
• Have a commitment to undertake and complete apprenticeship including
TAFE study.

We have a high standard of workmanship and to succeed in this role you will need to be self motivated, organised and have the ability to work as a team.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Installation of a variety of air conditioning systems including ducted, split and VRV/VRF systems
- Diagnosing problems, performing service work of air conditioning systems
- Installation and service work on commercial refrigeration systems
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and the internal team
- Prioritise jobs and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Use the mobile technology (Tradify) provided to complete jobs and timesheets

Essential Criteria:
- Air Conditioning and Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- OHS White Card
- NSW Qualified Supervisor/Contractor Licence (if applicable)
- Experience in service and installation work
- Commitment to the highest work standards
- Reliability, dedication and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
