TCW is now under construction, and we're excited to share this milestone with you.

Bringing together a welcoming cellar door, tasting room, event space, and luxury accommodation pods, TCW is thoughtfully embedded within the existing vineyard landscape.

Inspired by the iconic rural farm shed, the design reinterprets this agricultural vernacular through a contemporary architectural lens. Robust materials, textured metal cladding, layered interiors, and carefully curated finishes create a destination that feels both grounded and refined.

More than a wine-tasting destination, TCW is designed as an immersive experience, expressing the winery's unique character while inviting guests to linger, explore, and connect with its story.

//Brick box House

Set in a leafy pocket of Burwood, just a stone’s throw from Gardiners Creek, Brick-Box House is shaped by its natural setting and the unique geometry of its triangular site. A tall gum tree at the rear becomes a focal point, with the L-shaped footprint wrapping around it to create a protected north-eastern courtyard—an ideal space for entertaining, framed by a textured brick backdrop.
The home is arranged into two distinct pavilions, both at ground and first floor levels. On the ground floor, one wing contains the main family living zone, while the other offers a more retreat-like second living area. Upstairs, the split layout separates the parents’ wing from the adult children’s wing, maintaining a sense of independence while remaining under the same roof.
The house’s external brick forms are not only a visual anchor—they also play an integral role in shaping the home’s light and thermal performance. The hit-and-miss brickwork along the north-western façade allows dappled sunlight to filter into the main living areas, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the day. This element softens the harsh afternoon sun while preserving openness and warmth inside.

An efficient footprint which consists of three key design initiatives. The first being a north east facing entertaining area and pool. A generous kitchen living and dining spaces take advantage of the north eastern aspect. Arranged in an L-shape, each space has a connection with one another along with the pool and entertaining area.

The second key design initiative is a generous entry hallway with feature concrete ceiling. When entering the home, you are greeted with a direct visual connection to the garden out the back. The third, is a large void with a feature in-situ concrete staircase. Our client is a professional concreter, so we took advantage of their skills. Concrete material is applied to express character and style of the owners- designing concrete features throughout the house like the stair and entry ceiling, along with a concrete bench seat in the living area with recessed sliding windows.

Robinson House is a large home for a future family. The client wanted a home that would be large enough for a future family while not being excessive is size like other homes in the area. Exterior material palette consists of robust minimalist materials for simplicity and durability. The house is built in concrete, timber and lightweight cladding, producing a more rustic yet modern and sophisticated appearance.

//Pascoe Vale Terraces

This project demonstrates the potential efficiency of space and affordability captured in four 3-storey terraces. We crafted this design for an established developer consortium with a predominant residential project portfolio.
We took a cue from the diverse range of building typologies and uses at play in the area, to develop a sensitive, non-conventional approach to residential design. Our connective design strategy maximises the benefits of its desirable location in close proximity to the C*D, with public transport and convenient access to commercial and institutional amenities.

Balancing external views with internal privacy, the building engages with its corner location through carefully placed terraces, windows and featured design elements, with street-facing yards that invite outdoor engagement. These strategic openings embed the homes in their lively locale, with windows proportioned and positioned to create a balanced facade.

The design for these terraces offers peaceful refuge within the hustle-bustle of a busy surrounding. This unusual product typology has a unique response to its location, offering affordable, liveable, design-led homes to occupants, as well as an efficient solution to property developers, while successfully meeting council requirements for multi-residential living in a developing area.
