Today we say farewell to Tyler as he heads to begin an exciting new chapter in Cairns.

Over his time with Cold Phase Industries, Tyler has been a valued member of our team, bringing a strong work ethic, great attitude, and a willingness to tackle whatever challenges came his way. His contribution to the business, our clients, and the team has been greatly appreciated, and he will certainly be missed around the workshop and out on site.

While we’re sad to see him go, we’re excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for him and wish him nothing but success in this next stage of his career and life.

Cold Phase Industries is looking for a qualified electrician (Electrical Fitter Mechanic) to join our team full-time.

We’re a growing Mount Isa based business specialising in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Electrical services, working across domestic, commercial and industrial projects.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in domestic and commercial electrical work
• Exposure to industrial installations highly regarded
• Experience in installations, maintenance and breakdowns
• Ability to fault find control circuits and carry out installations (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong understanding of relevant electrical standards and regulations
• Meticulous attention to detail and neatness

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s Licence
• QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence

💡⚡️ Finished just in the nick of time before Christmas! 🎄

Here’s a kitchen and bathroom project we wrapped up juuuuust before the festive break — and we’re pretty proud of how it turned out. This job featured a fresh new kitchen and bathroom complete with tasteful LED strip lighting, stylish pendant lights, and Clipsal Iconic switch plates and outlets to finish it off nicely.

Behind the scenes, this was essentially a full rewire of the home. All new wiring was neatly clipped to the sides of trusses or secured to earthed catenary wires suspended through the ceiling cavity — the kind of workmanship that keeps even the most OCD sparkies sleeping well at night 😄.

The project also included:
✔️ New hard-wired, interconnected smoke alarms
✔️ Mains upgrade
✔️ Switchboard upgrade
✔️ All final sub-circuits protected by combination RCD/circuit breakers

A big job, finished on time, and done properly — exactly how we like it.
