ASK EMPAK | HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A NEW HOME? 🏡

It's one of the questions we're asked most often — and understandably so!

“How long will my new home take to build?”

As a general guide, a new home is currently taking around 9–10 months to build once construction gets underway.

Of course, every home is different. The size and complexity of your design, your block, selections, approvals, availability of materials and even the weather can all influence the timeline.

And there's more to building a home than what happens on site. Before construction begins, there's planning, design, selections, approvals and preparation to work through too.

That's why, from the early planning stages right through to handing over the keys, the Empak team will guide you through the process and keep you informed about what’s happening along the way.

BUILDING LOCAL | WHY WE LOVE BUILDING ON THE LIMESTONE COAST AND SURROUNDS ❤️

For three generations, Empak Homes has been building across the Limestone Coast, Mount Gambier and surrounds.

But this has never simply been a place where we build homes.

It's home for us too.

Over the years, we've watched new neighbourhoods take shape, local families grow and our communities change — and we've been fortunate enough to play a small part in that story.

There's something pretty special about building a home for people you might see at the shops, at local sport, through school or simply around town. It makes every home personal, and it's a responsibility we don't take lightly.

Building locally also means understanding the area, working alongside local trades and suppliers, and creating homes for the people who make the Limestone Coast what it is.

A lot has changed over three generations.
