Spring is display home season, and most people walk through them the same way. Kitchen, bathroom, main bedroom, out.
Worth slowing down on three things instead.
Stand in the kitchen and look at where you'd carry the shopping in from. That short walk happens a few thousand times over the life of a house, and you can feel straight away whether it's been thought about.
Open every cupboard. Storage is the first thing people wish they had more of, and the hardest thing to fix later.
Then stand in the middle of the living room and just be in it for a minute. Some rooms feel bigger than their measurements and some feel smaller. You can't tell that from a floor plan.
