This Dry Tropics garden was created during ReLeaf Landscapes' time in Townsville—a region known for its hot climate, intense sun and limited rainfall.

Our clients wanted a space that was not only beautiful, but resilient enough to thrive in the unique conditions of the tropics.

Through thoughtful plant selection, creative design and handcrafted details, this front yard became a living example of how gardens can flourish when we work with the environment around us.

Because great landscapes aren't just about how they look on day one—they're about how they grow, adapt and become part of the place they call home. 🍃

Every design starts with an idea... 🍃

Creativity comes in many shapes and forms—quite literally in this Dry Tropics front yard transformation in Townsville.

What started as a simple idea became a handcrafted pathway of leaf-shaped stepping stones, each one created from a custom form designed and built by Jack.

One step at a time, the path takes you through the garden and leads you towards a ReLeaf-built timber bench—a quiet place to pause, watch the birds, enjoy the shade and reflect on the journey ahead.

Because we believe a garden is more than just plants and structures. It’s a place where memories are made, where nature is invited in, and where every detail can tell a story.

Starting small, going big 🪨 - we are now on Instagram- check us out!

Before we start sharing our latest projects, we thought we'd take a little trip down memory lane.

ReLeaf Landscapes has been built on more than 20 years of hands-on landscaping experience, and over that time we've had the privilege of creating some incredible outdoor spaces across Townsville, NSW and the Sunshine Coast.

This rock wall is one of those projects that still makes us stop and think, "Yep... that was a big one."

Building a wall like this is a bit like solving a giant puzzle. Every rock has to find its place—not just so it looks great, but so it'll stand the test of time.
