Great progress is being made on Maria Island, with Spectran Group delivering key infrastructure upgrades. The new sewage treatment plant and reservoir extension are coming together smoothly, marking an important step in supporting the island’s future.

These upgrades will help protect the natural environment while ensuring this incredible destination can continue to be enjoyed by visitors and, of course, the island’s much-loved resident wombats.

Spectran Group is proud to be part of works that balance infrastructure with preservation in such a special place 🌿🐾🐾

Another standout team member - this time from our Spectran Group Civil crew 🤩

Huge congratulations to Brodie Halton for demonstrating exceptional safety awareness on the Showgrounds site and taking out this month's safety recognition voucher in the Civil Division.

Brodie noticed someone working beneath a suspended load and acted immediately. His approach was calm, respectful, and well received, setting a fantastic example of proactive, smart decision-making in keeping our worksites safe.

His actions highlight the importance of speaking up and taking responsibility for each other’s safety - this is exactly the standard we strive for across all our teams 🙌
