Been busy lately with this big one in palmveiw forest removing 200 -300 cube of unsuitable in preparation for new block retaining walls to be built for the tennis court.

100m x 50m Pad Cut / Horse arena from a few months back.

This project wasn’t an easy one hitting rock at 600mm down on a 3.5- 4m cut & fill with huge batters.

Scope of works :
- site topsoil scrape and stock pile
- large pad cut with 13T Excavator / 23T Excavator / D3 Dozer / 10m Tipper
- large swale drains along the top of the bank batter
- large swale drain and bottom of bank batter
- pad foot roller compaction on the complete pad in layers
- smooth drum roller compaction
- import 500cube of Roadbase due to unsuitable ground
- level / grader blade 60x40m arena
- installation of subsoil Drainage throughout the arena
- relevel arena at 1% fall
- import 360 cube of corse arena sand
- fencing was done by local contractor
- top dress batters throughout complete project
- we also removed old stables and cattle yards at property
