Some of the best seats in the house don't come from a furniture showroom.

Contemporary architecture is all clean lines and hard edges, until you add planting into the mix.

The greenery here softens those lines, while its movement adds a layer of interest that render never quite captures. Trailing over balconies, dropping down stonework, filling the gaps between glass and concrete - it's proof that the right planting doesn't fight the architecture, it completes it.

Some sites need a plan. This one needed a completely different way of thinking.

What started as a full landscape transformation of this Newport property quickly evolved into a complete home renovation, with work spanning the front, back and sides of the site.

It's been one of the most challenging projects we've taken on. The problem wasn't the design, it was access. Perched on a steep block with nothing but a narrow, active bus route with overhead powerlines for access - this was a site that multiple contractors had already walked away from.

Instead of seeing obstacles, we found a solution.

We worked with the client to invest in a purpose-built access ramp that made the entire project possible. That ramp became the backbone of the build, allowing materials, machinery and trades to move safely and efficiently throughout the project.

That's the difference between a team that simply follows a brief and one that solves the real problem. Full design, construction and maintenance, handled in-house, with a client who trusted us enough to think outside the box with them.

Nothing is too hard. This project is proof.
