So tonight the community of Manning Point and surrounds came together to raise funds for the Seik volunteers Australia a food van that came to our community when the floods happened.
They fed us and supported us through some hard times well tonight we supported them from the small community we raised over $7000 to go towards having another food van to be located in the Newcastle area to save them from driving up from Melbourne.
It's a great effort from team Manning Point.
Special thanks to Jamie Roche Poppa Jock Vicki Frost Steve Collings Club Manning Point Old Bar Beach Pirates RLFC Old Bar Clams Rugby Club.
Look there are many more to note but hay it's late and we had a great night. Enjoy and celebrate

Please note this is not an approved way to hook your gas cooker up. Gas bottles under no circumstances should be used in the house. To add to the danger of this there was a log fire place behind where I took this photo. LPG is heavier than air and can pool in a low spot and go boom.
