This project brings together a ground-level deck with a clear-roofed white pergola, cable balustrade and wide steps down to the backyard, plus a compact upstairs balcony right outside the sliding doors. Composite decking ties both levels together with a clean, low-maintenance finish that suits the white weatherboard home. Every detail was planned around how the owners actually use their space.
