I’m all set for the Wedding Fair at Caves Beach, Lske Macquarie tomorrow. 11am-2pm. Wondering how many conversations I’ll have.

I spent today relaxing and painting. Here’s a couple of mini canvases (4” squares.)

The tree, in all its winter splendour is in the grounds of Cafe Brocante in Lovedale. And the iron lace table setting with mismatched chairs was begging for my attention.

I’ve been preparing for a few weeks.

Such beautiful colours in the Temple at New Gokula Farm in Millfield.

This morning I had the honour of officiating a wedding in the Hare Krishna Temple at the New Gokula Farm in Millfield.

I live close by and have visited many times and it is such an honour to have been invited to marry a couple in this special place of worship.

🙋🏻‍♀️When I’m hosting a paint & sip event I love learning what others will bring to the painting. For example, my next event at Cafe Brocante, July 18th, we’ll be painting ‘Flying Free’. 🎨
🦋I see a young woman taking delight in butterflies. So I painted butterflies.
🤔Once I suggest that there are alternate choices … to be found in the imagination of others attending the event, that’s when the fun begins. 😊

A couple of weeks ago a couple of my celebrant buddies - Shay and Katherine - and I visited a Hunter Wedding Fair that was held at the Hunter Valley Gardens.

I’m inspired and have booked a spot at a wedding fair in Lake Macquarie in August!

Lots of planning to do now.
