Mount Eliza - Painted!

Specs -
Colour is Monument.
Size is 68lm (134lm inside and out).
25 fence bays x 2 - 50 bays total
174 fixings per bay filled and sanded off, double sanded. 4350 fixing holes at minimum.

Blackburn South - Part 1 of 2

Five bay picket fence restoration. This picket fence underwent major work. First, reshaping it. My client did this and I’m so glad he did. All the Windsor picket ends were cut off. Posts also had the ugly turned ends cut off and reshaped into ridge pointed tops which also aligns with the house angles.

After a consult , we agreed that structurally this fence was ok, frame and posts were good however, the brad nailed pickets were loose and required rescrewing to the frame, 400 screws added, filled sanded and primed including a full sand off on the inside and outside existing paint. Screwing the pickets also ensures security should a rouge basketball come flying into it.

The side return to the house was also painted to match the house colour (Surfmist). By painting side gates and fences that join to the boundaries, the house appears wider and presents grandeur.

Really enjoyed watching this transformation. The results are unreal and really highlight what a difference paint makes. Some before and after shots here inc prep work.

Twin gates. Single slider and pedestrian gate. Filled, sanded and primed. Lots of prep needed here with completed surfaces surrounding both gates. Plenty of pics showing masking and coverall prep required to get super clean lines. Colour is Monument.

Brighton East -

Follow on from previous post. Client had attempted to paint the new rear section of the fence around the pool and then made the call. I ended up doing a full set of boundary fences at this property.

The right side where the deck is a repaint. Spent a lot time on the right side straightening up the pailings that were popping off including the lower trim which had also come adrift here. See before and after pics.

The left side tested my gymnastic abilities with a very narrow work space complicated but piles of stuff against the house.

Colour is (British paints) Black Ace. This formula is exactly the same as Night Sky also. (Black).

Completing the look here with a full set of boundary fences in the front and rear yards. Just over 80lm of fences here with an oversized rear fence. Around 30lm of concrete retaining walls also painted to match.
Some good before and after pics here highlighting how the house is “really nice”, yet… it looks unfinished until the boundaries are painted, thus framing it properly without the awful yellow of pine.
Colour here is Monument.
