Can framing be romantic? We think so.

There’s something about this stage of a build that we never get tired of. At our Camberwell project, the second storey frame is now well underway and the roof trusses are going in.

For our clients, it means the home they’ve spent so much time planning is now there to walk through. Rooms have walls, windows have openings and you can stand upstairs and start to understand what the view from home will actually feel like.

There’s still a long way to go, but these are the moments along the way that are pretty special to be part of.

It’s been a big few weeks at our Hawthorn project, and the new addition is looking very different to the last time we shared it.

The ground floor frame is up, the yellow tongue flooring is down, and we’ve now got the second storey framing standing above it.

It’s a great point in the build because you can finally stand back and see just how much has been added to the original home, while also getting a feel for the height of the new upper level and the views the family will have out across Hawthorn.

Next up, we’re getting ready for the roof to go on and to get this home closed in.

A lot has changed at our Hawthorn project in a short space of time.

Here, the team was busy installing the Yellowtongue flooring across the upper level, which is now complete and ready for the next stage of works.

With the ground floor framing already up and work moving upstairs, we’re starting to get a much better sense of the overall scale of the new addition and how it sits behind the original home.

Great progress from the team, with plenty more happening on site over the coming weeks.

Another milestone at our Camberwell project.

The second storey frame is complete, and the roof trusses are now being installed. It’s one of those stages where the overall form of the home really starts to come together.

A few months ago, this was just a slab.

Fast forward to today at our Hawthorn project, and the ground floor framing is complete, with the team now laying the yellow tongue flooring across the second storey ready for the next stage.

It’s always rewarding to look back and see just how far a project has come, and we’re looking forward to sharing what’s next.

There are thousands of individual pieces that come together before a home starts to feel complete.

Every wall, beam and opening has a purpose, and it’s great to see the frame coming together at our Camberwell project.

It’s a busy time on site, and another reminder that good builds are the result of a lot of careful planning and skilled hands.

Building a home is all about one stage setting up the next.

With the second storey frame now going up, the team is setting everything up for the roof trusses to follow. It’s a busy stage on site, and another step towards getting this home weather tight.

Another milestone at our Hawthorn project.

The team is busy installing the yellow tongue flooring on the upper level, and it’s one of those jobs that makes a big difference. You can finally start to understand the size of the rooms and how everything connects together.

A great effort from everyone on site 👏

A lot’s been happening at our Camberwell project.

Framing is well underway, with the ground floor coming together as the team prepares to move onto the second level.

It’s one of our favourite stages of a build. For the first time, you can walk through the home and get a real sense of how each space connects and how the home will be lived in.

There’s plenty more to come, and we’re looking forward to sharing the next stage with you.

One of our favourite parts of this Hawthorn project is starting to come together.

With the structural steel now being installed, you can see the distinctive roofline at the rear of the home. Designed to maximise both natural light and elevated views across Hawthorn, it’ll be a defining feature of the new addition long before the finishes go in.

We’re looking forward to sharing more as this one progresses.
