Added a double brace to stop this heavy gate sagging… and for aesthetics of course.
Didn’t spend hours on symmetrical battens just for a wonky gate to throw everything off.
what do you think?

Why do I never see this done?

Scribing the weatherboard isn’t just about a clean finish — it actually improves weather tightness as well.

Worth taking the extra time on this one.
