Take a gander at this spotted gum handrail we crafted 👀
Featuring Lap joined mitres on the external corners for an abundance of glue and longer lasting joint, and a dovetail join mid-rail for some extra detail as well and providing superior long term performance. We had a ball working on this. Australian Deck & Handrail Association

The team is having a blast bringing this project to life. Rothoblaas Australia concealed rafter brackets , fun post checkouts, housing rafters beams for the Blackbutt pergola. Now we begin the H4 subfloor frame. Watch this space! Nationwide Timber

We are really proud of our apprentice Manni. These custom-built barn doors were handcrafted by the big dog, featuring detailed trim work that brings the classic barn style to life. Finished with heavy-duty black strap hinges, they’re built for strength, durability, and a finish that will stand the test of time.

Ahoy sailor 🛟 A little different from our usual work, but one we’ll definitely look back on with pride.

We recently completed restoration works at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Club in Williamstown, replacing rotten structural beams and decking that had deteriorated after years of exposure to the harsh marine environment.

All structural members were milled from Australian native hardwoods.
Projects like this don’t come around every day. It was a privilege to play a small part in preserving a piece of local history for generations to come.

This project features Trex RainEscape — an above-joist drainage system designed to capture and divert water before it reaches the framing, creating a completely dry and usable space underneath. It uses a system of troughs and gutters to protect the substructure from moisture while opening up possibilities for storage, entertaining areas, lighting, fans and more. Backed by a 25-year warranty, it’s one of those upgrades clients don’t see every day — but appreciate for years to come.
