Throwback to the Checkpoint Charity Cup! Earlier this year, we came together for an incredible day of friendly competition, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, giving back to a great cause.

Together, we proudly raised $150,000 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, helping bring joy and unforgettable moments to seriously ill children and their families.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, supported the event and helped make the day such a success.

$150,000 raised for the Starlight Children's Foundation! ⭐
What an incredible day at the Checkpoint Charity Cup at AAMI Park last Friday!

With teams captained by football legends Archie Thompson and Carl Valeri, the match was played as a curtain raiser before the A-League Men's match.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we raised enough to grant 20 wishes for seriously ill children through the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Watching the Starlight kids take the pitch for their own match at half-time.

We’re proud to announce the Starlight Foundation Checkpoint Charity Match, taking place at AAMI Park on the 27th of February 2026, ahead of the Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide United game.

This special charity match is all about supporting the incredible work of the Starlight Foundation, who help bring moments of happiness, hope, and positivity to seriously ill children and their families when they need it most. Every contribution helps fund programs that make a real and lasting difference. This year’s game helped fund over 15 Starlight Wishes and raised $116,00 and in 2026, we’re aiming even higher

Meet Jeremy – Director of Checkpoint Building Surveyors Victoria Domestic

With over 23 years in the building industry, Jeremy brings deep expertise, leadership, and a passion for quality to the Checkpoint domestic team. He began his career in 2002 as a cadet building surveyor, developing a strong foundation in compliance, construction standards, and client service.

In 2009, Jeremy joined Checkpoint as a Building Inspector, quickly progressing to Building Surveyor and then Domestic Manager in 2016. His focus on residential construction and high standards led to his appointment as a director of our Victorian Domestic division. in 2020.

Outside of work, Jeremy has a strong interest in architecture and design and is always inspired by how thoughtful construction can enhance the way people live. He is also passionate about martial arts, health, and fitness—all of which keep him grounded, focused, and ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic industry.

Dave is a registered Victorian Building Surveyor and Director of Checkpoint’s Victorian Domestic division. Dave brings over 15 years of experience in building certification — including 12 years with us here at Checkpoint.

He’s a specialist in residential consultancy, known for his clear, practical advice, that helps clients navigate compliance and achieve efficient outcomes.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Dave with his family, exploring architecture, hitting the gym, or cheering on Melbourne Victory & Manchester United
