Limestone Clay’s versatility in various bathroom settings comes from its textured surface. Each large-format panel features a fine, irregular relief that interacts with light from different angles, creating a depth uncommon in porcelain tiles of this size.

Cromie Consolare Bianco, soft-toned, matte-finished, compact stone tile made in Italy, its soft white tone and matte finish hold consistently across the full facade regardless of light condition, the fine aggregate texture giving the surface just enough depth to read as deliberate rather than plain. A showroom designed as an experience of material, atmosphere and scale.

Designed by Flack Studio, the Signorino Brisbane Stone Gallery marks a considered next step for Signorino in Queensland, creating an immersive destination for architects, designers and homeowners to engage with the surfaces that will shape their projects for decades to come.

The showroom brings together a rich natural material palette, from the expressive movement of Dune natural stone to the quiet linear warmth of Travertino Romano. Underfoot and overhead, Amber timber flooring from Woodcut brings depth, warmth and continuity, wrapping the space in a soft architectural rhythm.

Every detail has been designed to reflect the way materials are experienced in real homes and projects. Stone is not presented as a sample, but as a spatial gesture. Timber is not simply a finish, but a way of softening light, scale and proportion. Together, the palette creates a showroom that feels layered, tactile and deeply connected to the way architects, designers and homeowners make decisions.

Austral Dream has a tonal quality that’s hard to pin down until you see it in a finished room, pale cream and blush with soft, shifting movement that reads differently depending on the time of day and how much natural light is coming in.

Hong Henwood gave it plenty of room to perform in this Malvern residence: a full waterfall island with base cladding, a perimeter bench and splashback in the kitchen, and a fireplace surround panel in the living room. The stone is consistent across all three applications but reads differently in each.

Woodcut‘s Linen timber flooring grounds the whole palette, its bleached, fine-grained surface sitting quietly beneath the stone without competing for attention.

Inside, a rich natural palette unfolds at its own pace. The expressive movement of Dune natural stone sits alongside the quiet, linear warmth of Travertino Romano, while Amber timber flooring from Woodcut carries the eye through the space, grounding it in depth, warmth and a soft architectural rhythm.

Everything here reflects the way materials are truly lived with. Stone is presented not as a sample, but as a spatial gesture. Timber is not simply a finish, but a way of softening light, scale and proportion. The result is a gallery that feels layered, tactile and unhurried, designed around the way real decisions about real spaces are made.

A look back at the 2026 INDE.Awards. Indesign Magazine

We’re pleased to share a selection of photographs from this year’s celebration in Melbourne, where Signorino and WOODCUT joined the Indo-Pacific architecture and design community for the 10th anniversary of the awards.

As sponsors of The Prodigy category, we were proud to support an award dedicated to recognising emerging creative talent and the next generation of design thinking across the region.

This year’s honour was awarded to Smita Thomas for Multitude of Sins in India, a project recognised for its originality, vision and considered approach to design.

The evening brought together some of the region’s most influential architects, designers and creative leaders, celebrating the work, ideas and people continuing to shape the future of the built environment.

Fior di Pesco Carnico from Signorino defines two bathrooms in Autumn House by Hemma Interiors. Its soft grey ground and rose-blush veining impart warmth, expressive but never excessive, refined yet inviting.

Used as a carved vanity, the stone’s veining wraps the surface, making it appear unique from every angle. Up close, it feels layered and organic; from a distance, calm and architectural.

The palette is deliberately restrained: warm neutral walls, timber joinery, and matte black fittings let the marble command the room with quiet confidence. Nothing is overworked. The atmosphere builds through texture, proportion, and the marble’s natural character.
