Stunning colours…🍁
The northern salmon gum sheds its old skin each dry season.
What looks like decay is renewal.
Beneath the soft grey bark, brilliant orange emerges — strong, luminous, alive.
I’ve always been drawn to this quiet transformation.
In photography, growth rarely comes from learning something new.
It comes from shedding something old.
Old habits.
Old ways of seeing.
Old assumptions about what makes a “good” image.
Sometimes we don’t need more technique.
We need clarity.
There are three places remaining in the upcoming Maleny workshop.
We’ll be working gently, thoughtfully, and with purpose.
