Fog doesn't stop a lift - It changes how you approach it.

For this night shift, our 100t Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 was configured with a 45.2m main boom to install a 2.4t craneable access platform - While the lift remained well within the crane's capacity, the reduced visibility meant greater emphasis on communication, lighting, exclusion zones and confirming clear sightlines between the operator and dogman before every movement.

Weather doesn't always delay the job, but it should always influence the plan.

Not every roof lift is as straightforward as getting the load above the building.

Working at a 27m radius with limited setup space around the structure meant every aspect of the lift had to be carefully considered. Crane positioning, lift sequencing, site access, and coordination with the project team all played a role in delivering a safe and efficient outcome.

When everyone knows their role and the plan is solid, the lift tends to speak for itself.

Great work from everyone involved.

Our 200t mobile crane fitted with a 19m fly was used to lift and position fan units safely into place on this industrial project.

The additional fly provided the reach needed to access the installation area while maintaining the required lifting capacity, allowing the team to complete each lift efficiently and with minimal disruption to surrounding works.

Every successful lift comes down to selecting the right crane configuration for the job. Great work by everyone involved in another well-executed installation.

On this lift, our team utilised our crane alongside an EWP to carefully stand and position the precast panel into place. With tall, narrow loads like these, factors such as sling configuration, lift angles, wind conditions, and panel stability all play a critical role throughout the lift.

Did you know even a slight change in sling angle can significantly increase the tension force on the rigging? That’s why every precast lift requires detailed lift planning and precise communication between the crane crew and installers.

Our team recently completed the unloading and placement of an SM-14 Soilmec Drill Rig project using our Liebherr LTM1120-4.1.

With restricted set-up space around the pit and ground loading requirements to work through, the lift came down to careful planning and good coordination on site. Looks scary hey?

Great effort in getting it done safely and efficiently.
