A successful rebuild begins by rethinking how the site can serve family life.
Le Palais Doré transforms an established Balwyn North property through purposeful planning, refined street presence and a clear relationship between shared and private spaces.
Site orientation and natural-light optimisation guide the layout. Open-plan living and dining areas form the social heart of the home, while separate zones give family members privacy and flexibility. A premium kitchen, butler’s pantry and multiple living spaces support both daily routines and larger gatherings, with the alfresco area extending life outdoors.
The design shows how a knockdown rebuild can use valuable land with greater clarity—creating a home that feels generous, intuitive and adaptable without losing a sense of composure.
