Today Australia's top competition watchdog chair Rod Sims has slammed electricity distribution privatisation, saying it had reduced competition and pushed up prices.

Since 2009, one company's profits -AusNet's- have risen 400% at the expense of consumers. And there's many more like them: operating a monopoly and extracting ever higher charges from the people.

We have to fight privatisation. Then we have to take back the power.
