Happy International Women’s Day!

Nisha Bajaj, Director of Splendor Homes, had the pleasure of attending the Monash Women’s Business Network International Women’s Day Lunch, hosted by the wonderful Jo Stanley, on March 4 at Parkroyal Monash Melbourne.

Where vision and craftsmanship unite! Crafted for a grand French-inspired residence, this custom solid timber French door is where artistry meets architectural discipline.

The arched glazing detail is not decorative excess — it is geometry with intention. The curved muntin bars soften the vertical mass of the door, while the lower recessed panels anchor it with strength and proportion. The natural timber grain has been intentionally showcased, not concealed, allowing warmth and authenticity to contrast against the crisp white moulded architraves.

Notice the symmetry. Notice the balance. Notice how the arch within the glass subtly echoes classical European design language without overpowering the space.

This is not a standard joinery item.
It is bespoke craftsmanship.
