Completing an inspection above the Melbourne C*D
We take our work seriously, from set up to pack down. Every anchor checked. We don’t take risks.

Not all our work is on the outside of buildings.
This was a riser shaft, 12 levels. The building was failing its pressure test and the gaps needed to be found and sealed.
To get in there safely we had to:

Install anchor points
Set up a full non-contact rescue procedure
Rig for remote raise/lower if the technician needed extraction
Run air quality and gas detection throughout
Establish radio contact (no phone coverage inside)
Map multiple exit points

All of that before a single gap got sealed.
Confined space work isn’t just about getting in. It’s about making sure you can get out, no matter what happens.

This is an abseil anchor that, as rope access techs, you expect to be installed correctly, especially when it’s carrying a compliance tag.

This is life-support equipment. We didn’t get “lucky” finding this issue; we found it because we’re trained to inspect and test every anchor before trusting it. This is why checks are non-negotiable. These screws should be installed into the purlins underneath. Not loose enough to take them out with your fingers 🤷‍♂️

Can abseil. Can caulk.

Glazing seals, precast expansion joints. We’ve got it covered.
Unlike most rope access crews, our work is done by qualified caulkers with rope access tickets, so the finish on the façade is done properly.

No anchors? No problem. We sort that too.

Another iconic Melbourne location.
Some dream of being on stage here… this day, the stage was ours.
Safe to say there were considerably fewer spectators 🤣
