Mont Albert, complete.

This internal renovation was centred around improving space, light and everyday functionality, with a larger ensuite, new laundry and WC, a generous walk-in robe, new windows and skylights, and a fresh finish throughout.

The finished home now feels brighter, more practical and much better suited to daily living.

Introducing our latest renovation and extension project in Preston.

The existing home is being reworked to create a more open and functional layout, with the scope including:

• Opening up the kitchen, dining and living areas
• Extending the kitchen by just over two metres
• Adding a fourth bedroom
• Creating a new ensuite
• Introducing a new hallway
• Adding a large day bed and new front-facing window

Demolition is now underway, with structural carpentry next as the new floor plan starts to take shape.

A lot has changed since our last update in Doncaster.

One of the biggest mistakes we see with renovations happens before construction even starts.

A design is developed, drawings are completed, consultants are engaged and only then is a builder brought in to price it.

That’s when the client can find out the home they’ve spent months designing doesn’t align with the budget they actually have to build it.

Our Design Collaboration process is designed to avoid that.

We work alongside you and the design team during the design stage, providing real construction pricing, buildability advice and practical input as the plans develop.

We can bring in our preferred architect and consultants, or work with your existing design team if you already have one.

The goal is simple. Design a home you love, but make sure it can actually be built within a realistic budget.

The investment is $3,000 including GST and is fully credited towards your 5% deposit if you proceed with ATLI for construction.

A small extension that made a big difference.

The brief for this Malvern home was simple: add an extra bathroom, bring in more natural light and give the existing spaces a fresh, considered update.

The renovation included:

• A new kitchen
• New ensuite and separate bathroom
• Updated bedroom spaces
• New flooring and carpet
• Two new skylights to bring in more natural light
• A two-square-metre extension that allowed us to add an ensuite and rework the existing bathroom layout

A look through the early works underway at our Doncaster renovation.

With the home recently purchased by a growing family, the focus is on creating a more open and functional ground floor. A new steel beam has allowed us to open up the kitchen area, while removing the adjoining non-load-bearing wall has improved the flow between the kitchen, dining and living spaces.

A few considered structural changes are already making a big difference to the way this home will be used every day.
