CCTV – POWERHQ Vehicle Break In | Ascot Vale
At approximately 8:23 am yesterday (9 July), my locked ute was broken into on Station Avenue, Ascot Vale and a high value of tools were stolen. We still can’t work out how they managed to get into it so quickly.
The incident was captured on CCTV from a neighbouring property and the vehicle involved is a 2015 dark blue Subaru sedan with registration GRW 137. The matter has been reported to Victoria Police.
If anyone in the area has CCTV or dashcam footage from around 8:20–8:30 am on 9 July, we’d really appreciate you checking and getting in touch. Even footage showing where the vehicle came from or where it travelled afterwards could be extremely helpful.
VicRoads shows the vehicle’s registration as current and not listed as stolen but it’s possible the registered owner is unaware their vehicle may have been used in this offence.
If you have any information that may assist, please send me a private message or contact Victoria Police.
Please feel free to share this post. Thank you.
