Meet Kate, Design Principal & Head of Design at Lucas House & Garden.

With more than 20 years’ experience in landscape architecture and design, Kate brings a wealth of expertise to every project. A registered Landscape Architect with AILA, her experience spans residential and commercial landscapes, open spaces and innovative sustainability projects.

Kate is passionate about creating gardens that are as individual as the people who enjoy them. From the initial brief through to completion, she works closely with clients and our construction team to ensure every design detail is thoughtfully translated into the finished landscape, from considered site details to richly layered planting.

As Head of Design, Kate also works collaboratively with our design team, encouraging fresh thinking and bringing together the experience and creativity needed to deliver truly bespoke landscapes.

Away from Lucas Kate loves spending time outdoors, gardening, hiking, sailing, swimming, and picnics with friends and family.

David oversees the planning, coordination and ongoing maintenance of our clients’ gardens, as well as the team responsible for their care.
