Farewell to Ben Mckenzie – The face of XPower👷🏼🚧
One of XPower’s best is hanging up his hard hat and heading to the hills of Canada to become a lifty. Ben Mckenzie, the face of XPower on social media (which he built from the ground up), gave the people what they wanted and played a key role in our transition and rebranding.
Ben brought more than just enthusiasm—he used skills from his university degree to help shape our digital presence and brand identity. His creativity and strategic thinking were instrumental in making XPower what it is today.
He spent three years with us, starting from scratch with no background in the industry. When I offered him the job, his dad told me, “He wouldn’t know how to use a shovel.” But Ben’s unbelievable attitude to life proved otherwise. He listened, kept his eyes open, and was always learning.
His “nothing’s too hard” mindset is what turned him into the incredible employee he is today. The management team literally said to me, “WHAT THE F%$ # will we do when Ben leaves?” And they weren’t wrong.
Ben won’t just be missed by management—he’ll be missed by the entire work group. You’ve left a mark, mate.
Ben, we’re going to miss you. We wish you all the best in your next adventure. We’re already counting the days until you return—and hoping you’ll want to don the fluro’s again when you’re back.
