🏗️ Albert Park Pit Building Redevelopment Update 🏁
Great progress is being made at the Albert Park Pit Building Redevelopment, with the CDPG team continuing to drive the project forward.
✅ Demolition works complete
✅ Piling works complete
✅ Under slab inground services
The project is now moving into its next stage, with teams focused on:
🔹 Installing external inground services
🔹 Structural steel
🔹 Major concrete pours
A special shout-out to Plumber Bridget Martin and the broader CDPG project team, who have played a key role in delivering the works completed to date.
While the redeveloped facility will continue to support the world-class requirements of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, its benefits will extend far beyond race weekend. The upgraded precinct will provide the community with additional indoor sports courts and improved clubrooms for tenant clubs, creating a lasting legacy for Albert Park.
CDPG is proud to be engaged by Icon on this landmark project. The redevelopment is being delivered through a partnership between Development Victoria, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Parks Victoria, the State Sport Centres Trust, and the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR).
