Day 2 VLOG at Cape Shank renovation,
Discoveries were made, history was uncovered.
The client John who’s a draftsman by trade suggested that it was owned by Japanese folks because this is a common wet area for them. Where we all agreed this is not something you see in Australian building!

Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy. Waterproofing, balcony repairs, cracked shower base remedials, a bathtub-to-shower conversion, outdoor works, under-house landscaping for storage — and a solid run of quoting lined up for what’s next. We pride ourselves on being able to tackle anything under the domestic umbrella or at very least can find someone who can.

This is the work that keeps buildings performing and clients confident. 🛠️

A piece of mahogany plank held by our clients for years in anticipation of turning such a beautiful piece of wood into a household furnishing. This is a glimpse of the work it takes to get something like this renewed and ready for display.

Using BOSCH’s new hole saw kit. We love this innovation coming out in clip-lock systems for quick changing of blades, hole saw pieces ect. Gone are the days of getting out an Allen key to change a blade!

Rye Renovation | From Start to Finish

A look at how this one came together for Andrew & Julie in Rye.

From day one demolition through to the final stages, this project was all about steady progress, clean work, and getting the details right.

We’ll often be on site across different stages like this — not always back-to-back, but always moving things forward properly with each trade lined up and working to a plan.

Biggest thanks to the skilled trades that make the finial finish look ace 👌🏽

Bathroom complete for two legendary clients - John and Robyn. John is a retired builder and rather than stand over me picking on any imperfections, he assisted me with his task, organised things ahead of me and shared knowledge from a career in the industry (& Robyn made a coffee that could you awake for 3 days) - thanks guys 🙏🏽

Full Wedi board system install from start to finish.

Substrate prepped, boards fixed correctly, joints sealed and penetrations treated to maintain full waterproof integrity. It’s a complete system — not just a board — designed to reduce risk and build bathrooms properly from the base up.

Getting this stage right makes everything else easier.
