PROJECT COMPLETION // Edgebrook Childcare Centre

MD Group is proud to have successfully delivered the full timber framing supply and installation package for at the new Edgebrook Childcare Centre in Clyde.

This impressive childcare facility is a key part of the broader Edgebrook master-planned community, designed to support families in Melbourne’s growing south-east.

This project was a significant undertaking for our team, involving 1,000 sqm of timber framing and timber trusses - the largest framing package MD Group has ever taken on. Our team worked efficiently to ensure precision, quality, and timely delivery, demonstrating our expertise.

PROJECT UPDATE ‼️

MD Group has reached the halfway point of the carpentry package for the Mecwacare John Hood Residential Aged Care Facility in Richmond, Victoria.

Our team are installing doors, KDHW jambs, colonial-style skirting, and elegant wainscoting throughout this impressive six-level, 77-bed facility. The building is retaining its heritage facade whilst offering stunning views of the Melbourne CBD.

Once a hotel, the building is undergoing a remarkable transformation into a state-of-the-art aged care residence. Residents will enjoy a variety of communal amenities, including a café, library, cinema, gym, hair salon, and private dining rooms, creating a vibrant and comfortable living environment.

📣CONTRACT UPDATE 📣

Infinite Care - Knoxfield

For the past four months, MD Group has been delivering the full carpentry package for the Infinite Care Knoxfield project—a 12,700 sqm aged care development in Melbourne’s South-East. This state-of-the-art facility will feature 177 beds across five levels, thoughtfully designed to provide residents with comfort, community, and a high standard of living.

Our Carpentry Team has successfully completed the structural framing and structural steel installation and is now progressing with the installation of fire doors, internal doors, skirting, and sanitary fixtures. Every detail is being executed to the highest standards of quality and safety 👷🏽‍♀️

This impressive development is designed with residents in mind, featuring multiple dining and lounge spaces on each level to create warm, inviting areas for socializing and relaxation. With a focus on natural light and open spaces, the central area boasts expansive windows that provide stunning views of Waterford Valley Golf Course 🌳🏌️

This secret fixed spotted gum profiled batten encapsulates the restored hardwood bar top, that was salvaged from the old bar.

The hardwood shrouds were custom fit to include an LED strip above the bar, which will create the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance ⭐️

Progress on the first of three large rooftop decks we have been working on with in Coburg 🏙️

This first deck is 121 sqm of silver gum mod wood which will wrap around the reclaimed brick planter boxes, creating a blend of natural and modern elements 🌱

This project has allowed us to experience beautiful views of the Melbourne skyline daily 🤗 along with a direct view of the old exercise yard at the notorious Pentridge Prison 🫢

We are excited to see the finished product! ✨
