Reynolds Maintenance is a high quality painting and handyman service. Reynolds Maintenance is a complete painting and handyman service.

GARDEN CLEAN UP - Weeding, tree pruning, small-med tree removal, mowing and line trimming. RUBBISH REMOVAL - all hard rubbish removal

Good paint cannot fix bad preparation.

A quality finish starts well before the first topcoat goes on. Cracks need to be repaired, loose or failing paint needs to be removed, surfaces need to be cleaned, and the right primer or sealer needs to be used where required.

Skipping those steps might save time at the start, but it usually shows later.

Preparation is what gives exterior paint its best chance of looking good and lasting properly.

That is why we spend the time getting the surface right before we start painting.

A window jammed open just before a long weekend is the kind of small problem that can quickly become a much bigger one.

Adam sent us a photo, we were able to quote the repair quickly and get out to sort it before the weekend.

For us, good handyman service is not only about fixing the problem. It is about responding clearly, turning up when we say we will and making the whole process easier for the customer.

And here’s 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 in action.

Once it’s on the wall, you can see why this colour works so well in a light-filled space. It brings warmth and personality without making the room feel heavy.

The skylight helps the yellow read differently throughout the day too. In brighter light it feels fresh and lively, while in softer light it becomes warmer and more relaxed.

This is exactly why we like showing the finished result after a paint reveal. A colour in the tin is one thing. Seeing how it works with the light, the architecture and the rest of the room is what really matters.

A bold choice, but a very considered one.

Another paint reveal, and this one definitely brings some colour.

This is 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝘂𝘅.

It’s a bright, warm yellow that brings plenty of light and energy into a space without needing to be used everywhere to make an impact.

For this project, we’re using Dulux Wash&Wear Matt on the internal walls, giving the colour a durable, washable finish for everyday living.

Yellow can completely change the feel of a room, especially when it’s used alongside the right surrounding colours, natural light and finishes.

And judging Lemon Delicious from the tin only tells you so much.

We’ll show you exactly where this one ended up soon.

Sometimes the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁.

For this job, we installed plastic damp course lining against the house to help improve water flow around the property.

For Sammy, the important part wasn’t just getting the work done. It was having a team that turned up, communicated clearly and made the whole process straightforward.

That’s exactly how property maintenance should feel.

And here’s 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 going onto the walls.

Once you see it across a larger area, the colour starts to make much more sense.

It’s a soft blue, but not one that takes over the room. It keeps the space feeling light while adding just enough colour to separate the walls from the white brickwork and surrounding finishes.

This stairwell is a good example of why we always like to see a colour in place before judging it. The natural light, angles and neighbouring surfaces all change how it reads.

Still a work in progress here, but you can already see the space starting to come together.

𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺.

This is 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝘂𝘅, a very soft, pale blue that keeps the space feeling light while giving the walls more personality than a standard white.

It is subtle enough to work as an everyday wall colour, yet still blue enough to change the room's mood, especially as the natural light shifts throughout the day.

For this project, we’re using Dulux Wash & Wear Matt, giving the internal walls a durable, washable finish as well as the colour change.

Shimmer Quarter can look very understated in the tin.

The finished room tells a much better story.

There’s a lot to be said for knowing you can hand a job over and trust it will be done properly.

This customer had used us before for a full internal paint, so when their rental property needed a few repairs before going on the market, they got back in touch.

We were able to sort the damage, get the property looking right again and have everything completed within the week.

Repeat customers mean a lot to us. It tells us the first job wasn’t just about the finish. It was also about being reliable, easy to deal with and doing what we said we would.

Here’s where 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 ended up.

We used it on the internal doors and trims, and this is where you can really see what that subtle warmth does.

Against the painted brick walls, Spanish Cream Quarter gives the doors definition without creating a harsh contrast. It still feels light and clean, but softer than a bright white would in the same space.

The semi gloss enamel also makes sense here. Doors and trims are high touch areas, so the finish needs to be durable and easier to keep clean, not just look good when the job is finished.

Sometimes the best colour choices aren’t the ones that demand attention. They’re the ones that quietly work with everything around them.

Another paint reveal, and this one proves that not every light colour has to be white.

This is 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝘂𝘅, a soft, warm cream that keeps things light without giving you the cooler feel of a bright white.

It’s subtle, but those warmer undertones can make a real difference inside a home, particularly when the colour sits alongside timber, flooring and other warmer finishes.

For this job, it’s been mixed in a semi gloss enamel, ready for the interior details we’re working on.

It might not look dramatic in the tin, but wait until you see where Spanish Cream Quarter has ended up.
