Today (29/05/25) we installed solid timber floating shelves in East Doncaster, there’s almost 40hrs of work behind the scenes to get to this point, with some plaster repair and painting works yet to be done and electricians charges to fire up the LED strip lighting integrated into each shelf.

This project in Gisborne, finally completed over this weekend, after our client decided to take a trip around Australia back in December 2023. The project has been in limbo since. We used versaboard carcass materials to withstand outdoor moisture. This has been built around an actual free standing Weber BBQ with a scribed template provided to the stonemason for a neatly finished curved stone bench around the rotisserie stand. Loving the farmhouse sink to suit the architecture of this new build. This BBQ area cost approximately $25k with all appliances, choice of material/finish and accessories.

Some days are as simple as building storage shelves under stairs, we like those simple days too, as part of the mix in the variety of what we do 😊
