At Landshapes, we do a lot of work for Body Corporates, and we love taking care of their often unique needs.

Let's face it, not every tenant has a green thumb, while others can't help but meddling with things. We understand all the unique needs of a Body Corporate for Landscape design that doesn't need a tonne of regular maintenance but presents a neat face to the word all year round.

On top of the world!

Matt and the Landshapes team recently installed this innovative new green roof on top of a new apartment development in Hawke Street, Nth Melbourne (Town Hall in the background), and in spite of all the distractions the vista offered, as you can see got the job done, with this striking, low maintenance native garden design.

Safety first always, readers will note - especially when working at heights like this.

There's no doubt that the green roofing trend is the future, and Landshapes have the skills and expertise unique to this highly specialised design form.

Defining a plant by its political boundaries just doesn't make sense. Plants are biological beings that do not respect borders. Lots of "native" plants have become terrible weeds, just as lots of "exotic" plants become well behaved environmentally useful citizens."

An interesting review of one of Melbourne's largest native nurseries ...
