Adaptability is everything. Plans can change, unexpected challenges can arise, and sometimes you need to think on your feet but the vision always remain the same.
15 Acrow props. 6 LVL. Big steel beams. One major structural transformation.
We used a total of 15 Acrow props to temporarily support the roof load, allowing us to safely remove the main internal load bearing walls.
These walls were responsible for supporting and transferring the roof loads down to the foundations. With the walls removed, we installed six timber LVL and three steel members to take over the load and create the open space our client was after.
A lot of temporary support, careful planning and structural work goes into making a big transformation like this happen safely.
