BMAK Medical Centre is reaching an exciting milestone — the top slab is now complete and the building has officially topped out.

It’s great to see the project taking shape and construction progressing at such a fast pace. The overall form and scale of the building are now clearly coming through.

Next up, we’re looking forward to seeing the brickwork and glazing go in, bringing another layer of character and detail to the architecture.

Exciting progress on site, with plenty more to come.

Boyd Residence | Doncaster

A boutique residence defined by strong geometric forms, layered brickwork and deep recessed openings.

The light brick façade is contrasted with dark metal detailing, while hit & miss brickwork adds texture, privacy and changing patterns of light throughout the day. Stepped landscaping and a raised entry respond naturally to the site, creating a strong sense of arrival.

Contemporary, refined and designed with a focus on materiality and proportion.

Alma Road | St Kilda

Adaptive reuse with a focus on better housing outcomes.

The Alma Road project reimagines an existing heritage residential building in the heart of St Kilda, transforming 12 existing apartments into 22 rooming house suites while retaining the building’s established character and presence within the streetscape.

Rather than replacing the existing building, the design works carefully within its existing fabric — using selective demolition and considered internal reconfiguration to increase housing capacity while minimising unnecessary intervention.

The project aims to deliver more affordable and diverse housing choices in a well-connected inner-Melbourne location, close to public transport, local amenities and established community infrastructure.

A considered approach to heritage retention, adaptive reuse and sustainability, giving an existing building a new purpose while responding to the growing need for accessible housing.

12 apartments → 22 rooming house suites.
More homes. Less demolition. Better use of existing buildings.
