So was asked to do a quote for a twenty something year old bloke.
He required a TV bracket Provided/ Installed; now I know his mother as they are my ex-neighbors.
So I would provide a bracket for a 65 inch tv at cost and would install for $150 and if he required HDMI/ cables or power point installed in the wall it would be an additional cost.
His response was I was to expensive and he thought I should do him a favour and be cheaper....
He did get more quotes and all were the same as mine... but if I was willing to do it for a $100 I could have the job.
Don't waste my time.... I gave a very fair quote and would have looked after him with any additional works.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable. People should shop around, but when it comes to trades you get what you pay for.
And If someone is cheaper then me, go with them don't tell me what to charge to do a job that he had know idea how to do.
