Who doesn’t love a good time lapse? Stick around passed the 15 second mark to see the transformation take place.

This was a quick two week stint at Exchange Tower where we replaced the existing revolving door with Auto Sliders and a DDA accessible entrance.

We did the main lobby works here a few years back and it’s held up beautifully.

Watch till the very end and you’ll see a few legends strolling through my wet concrete xD

Not exactly what you want to find at 6am on a Monday, but we sorted it out quick and got it looking perfect :)

So the Revolver is long gone, and that’s probably for the best since handheld fi****ms are a no-go.

Seahaven Services did an awesome job removing the old Revolving Door, and I managed to sneak in some quickset concrete before Nuline Windows came through with the new frame.

The flow on this project has been spot on, with Electrical and Security rough-in now complete. We’re gearing up for tiling and entrance mat works next, before the big clean-up and reveal.

A bit of a throwback to the first clinic we did, SleepWise at 296 Collins Street in the city.

This was one of those projects that will always stand out because it was when we first branched out into the medical sector, and there was so much learning along the way.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ken Lee to bring his dream to life. We converted a very old space that still had hand moulded plaster ceiling tiles and those classic green aluminium partitions that were everywhere in Melbourne throughout the 80s.

We turned this space into a fantastic clinic, and it was such a great collaboration, working towards the same goal, learning together, and working with someone who was probably the most pivotal for my business.

Ken helped me branch out into the dental sector and gave the most amazing feedback to colleagues and friends, which was a real turning point for QTC Build and helped generate new projects.

There was a time when my business was struggling, and Ken and I stayed in regular contact. He was always asking, “How can I help you? What can we do? How can I help you move forward with your business?” His genuine care motivated and propelled me, and without his attitude, friendship, and recommendations, QTC Build would not be where it is today.

A client once asked if we ever have trouble delivering projects… so I showed them this. QTC Build, guaranteed delivery.

Truth is, I just forgot about the weekly social post, so this will do. We've had a really big week Floor Grinding on a project about to hand over in 2 weeks.

Next week we will be sharing the final photos of our Kew Periodontics fitout, completed earlier this year.

We were waiting on the finishing touches, including imported furniture and artwork, before doing the photography and videography and it looks fantastic.

Welcome to Week 8 of our 8-week fitout journey for The Resilience Project and The Imperfects Podcast in Collingwood!

What an incredible project this has been. It’s been a pleasure working with two organisations so down-to-earth and easy to collaborate with.

Everyone involved made the whole process smooth—we tackled design hurdles and resource challenges on the spot and kept things moving.

We feel very fortunate to have been part of this journey, from initial design to delivery, and even post-fitout support with additional works to truly make this space their home.

Welcome to Week 7 of our 8-week fitout journey for The Resilience Project and The Imperfects Podcast in Collingwood!

Starting things off this week inside the Cone of Silence, and if you get the Get Smart reference, retirement might be closer than you think.

It’s been a massive week pushing toward handover. Plenty went down that didn’t make it on camera: decals, acoustic panels, curtains, rods, workstations, cleaning, but we made it in the end.

We wrapped up the final clean just as the client was moving in, so we didn’t quite finish a full week ahead of schedule, but 6 days and 22 hours early is still pretty good.
