Commercial Flake Epoxy Flooring | Rosebud

This commercial shop in Rosebud had an existing tiled floor that needed a complete upgrade before the new tenancy could move forward.

We started by mechanically grinding the existing tiles to create a suitable profile for adhesion. Low areas, damaged sections and removed tile areas were then rebuilt using an epoxy mortar — epoxy resin blended with sand — to create a solid, level substrate.

Once the preparation and repairs were complete, we applied a sacrificial epoxy coat, followed by a ceramic coat, before installing the APC flake flooring system over the entire area.

The finished floor completely transforms the space, providing a seamless, hard-wearing and easy-to-maintain surface suited to a commercial environment.

Cracked Concrete Stair Repair & Resurfacing | Doncaster

These recently installed concrete stairs had already started cracking through the step faces and landings, so the issue needed to be properly reinforced before any resurfacing could begin.

We cut reinforcing slots through the affected areas, filled them with Chemset 502, then inserted 12mm jack bars and fully encapsulated them within the chemical anchoring compound. Once cured, the repair areas were rebuilt and filled over using a structural repair mortar to restore the damaged sections and provide a solid base for the resurfacing system.

With the structural repairs completed, the stairs and surrounding concrete were then resurfaced to create a consistent, uniform finish across the entire area.

A good example of why proper preparation and structural repair should always come before the cosmetic finish.

Exposed Aggregate Driveway Staining & Sealing | Doncaster

This exposed aggregate driveway had a concrete matrix that was much lighter than the client wanted, so rather than replacing the surface, we transformed the finish with a professional staining and sealing system.

We applied a 1:20 black stain to darken the concrete matrix while still allowing the natural exposed aggregate to remain visible. Once the colour had developed evenly, the driveway was finished with 2 coats of Dulux Avista Exposed Aggregate Sealer to enhance the appearance and provide added protection.

The result is a much deeper, richer finish that better complements the home and gives the existing exposed aggregate a fresh new look.
