Proper pruning encourages strong healthy growth, improves air circulation and promotes an abundance of quality blooms.

🔸Use clean, sharp secateurs to make precise cuts.
🔸Remove all dead, damaged, diseased, and weak stems.
🔸Eliminate crossing or inward-growing branches to create an open, vase-shaped framework.
🔸Make each cut approximately 5–10 mm above an outward-facing bud at a 45° angle, sloping away from the bud.
🔸Reduce the plant by around one-third to one-half, depending on the rose variety and its vigour.
🔸Apply a quality rose fertiliser and mulch after pruning, then water thoroughly.

A well-pruned rose rewards you with healthier growth, improved flowering and a stronger plant throughout the season.
