Some of our glasshouses sit in a suburban backyards. But these two beauty's sit on a 36,000 acre high country sheep station in the Craigieburn Valley NZ, with snow-capped peaks in view for months of the year.
nz in Canterbury, a pair of our glasshouses forms part of the kitchen garden feeding Sugarloaf, the restaurant behind the Homestead and villas guests fly in from across the world to stay at. More than 30 varieties of fruit, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, grown just metres from where they're served.
When the open garden goes dormant through the coldest months, this is where the growing keeps going.
