We knew this space would be special before a single wall went up. A hallway that feels inside and outside. A courtyard you can see from almost anywhere in the home.

This will forever be one of our favourite spaces.

You don't need to know where to start. That's the whole point of us.

First renovation? It can feel overwhelming; no one expects you to know the order things happen in. We start with your budget and your vision, then guide you through feasibility, concept, approval and design.

The earlier you reach out, the more we can save you from spending in the wrong places.

Welcome to Wildheart Homes.

We've been working on a better way to start your build with us. Soon.

Ask anyone who's built with us.

Welcome to Wildheart Homes.

"If I tell them my budget, they'll just quote to it."

It's one of the most common worries we hear from clients gathering quotes, and to be honest, it's fair.

But here's the truth: building has a wild range. A renovation can be $180k or $800k. A custom build can swing hundreds of thousands depending on finishes, site conditions, and the decisions made along the way.

When we ask for your budget, we're not asking so we can stretch to it. We're asking so we can be realistic with you; about what's possible, where to prioritise, and what we'd honestly recommend (or talk you out of).

Without that number, we're guessing. And guessing isn't how trust gets built.

Flaxley. Finished. And we couldn't be prouder of how it came together 🤍

This one had everything we love about a great renovation; original character worth keeping (that fireplace), generous spaces built for a family who actually lives in their home, and a material palette that feels both modern and warm.

A few of our favourite details:
→ Custom cedar shiplap entry door by
→ Restored original fireplace, paired with engineered timber flooring
→ Kitchen in green topiary and white ash cabinetry, with polished white stone and matte black fixtures

Every one of these choices was made with this family, not for them. That's the part of our job we love most.

This is what we mean when we say our heart goes into every project 🤍

The most common thing we hear before a first consultation?

"We don't even know where to start."

Good news, that's literally what we're here for.

It's not just an extension.

It's the room you've been imagining since the second baby came along.
The kitchen big enough that everyone can actually fit at Christmas.
The space your teenagers can disappear into when they need to.
The hallway that finally connects the parts of your home that never quite spoke to each other.

It's not just a renovation.

It's outgrowing what you have without wanting to leave. It's loving the bones of your house enough to give it another forty years. It's choosing to stay, and to build, and to make it work for the family you have now; not the one you were when you bought it.

That's what we hear in the first conversation, every single time. Not square metres. Not budgets. Not finishes.

It's we need more room for the kids. We want to host our parents properly. We want a forever home.

We never forget that bit. It's why we build.

A few things we're loving in homes right now 👇🏼

→ The cottage revival. Rustic, eclectic, quietly polished. Old made new without losing the soul of it.
→ Timber that's been around the block. The older, the better.
→ Stone and brick used like they were always meant to be there; because in a lot of these homes, they were.
→ Warm and cosy meeting open and light. You don't have to pick one.

Maybe it's because we're 155 years deep into a cottage reno right now and falling in love with it daily. But this is the look we keep coming back to.
