Slab down in Newtown!

Whilst we’ve been working our way through the winter rain, we got there! Our Newtown project has officially reached slab stage.

At Pivot Homes, we use raft slabs rather than waffle slabs, providing a solid foundation for your new home and forming the beginning of another quality build.

Now the real transformation begins... we can’t wait to see this home take shape!

Today's colour selection was one of those projects where every finish worked in harmony.

Set in Inverleigh, this home embraces a Mid-Century Australian Modernism aesthetic, with a palette that feels grounded, warm and effortlessly timeless.

Rich timber grains, muted olive greens, soft putty tones, warm stone and handcrafted tiles come together to create interiors that celebrate texture and natural materials. Sneak Peek – Winchelsea Acreage Home

We're just over a week away from handing over this stunning custom acreage home in Winchelsea, and it's all coming together beautifully.

From the striking contemporary façade featuring Stria cladding in Monument, ADBRI Cored Bricks in Smoke, and a statement recycled Messmate timber entry door, this home makes an impression from the moment you arrive.

Internally, the use of brick feature walls surrounding the two-way gas fireplace, combined with a palette of dark, moody greys and the warmth of polytec Australian Native joinery, creates a cohesive design that beautifully reflects the external materials and tones.

The finishing touches are now underway, with final detailing and the builder's clean being completed in preparation for final inspection.

We love seeing a project reach this stage — when months of planning, craftsmanship and collaboration come together to create a home our clients can enjoy for years to come.
